In the past few weeks, Obrist staff were given the opportunity to celebrate their employer’s headquarter’s 5th anniversary in Inwil by attending a very special lunch meeting. Barbara Gilli and Erich Slamanig from the Human Resources and Corporate Culture division organized “blind lunches” for the employees. The people only discovered who they were paired with once they entered the restaurant.
This led to unusual meetings, for instance between people from production with engineers, project managers with designers, back office with logistics staff, and managers with apprentices. The encounters enabled fascinating, interesting, funny, and deep conversations about topics such as families, hobbies, travelling, cooking, food, countries of origin and many more! The guests enjoyed their meals at the restaurants Kreuz or Schützenmatt in Inwil, where the hostesses Ursula Arnold and Priska Hägeli had set a special Obrist table for several weeks.
This exciting experience allowed many work colleagues to get to know each other better – and even made some hearts beat a little faster!
